NC’s Opioid Crisis
Seeing as my own family was touched by the crisis, working on North Carolina’s opioid awareness campaign was personal. The idea we pitched, during a divisive political season and a state already torn in red and blue halves, was simple: while ending the crisis felt helpless as an individual, together, we were all more powerful—and could enact positive change together. Part of the campaign also included social media and OOH that raised awareness of the Good Samaritan Law, which legally protects a person calling to report an opioid overdose from prosecution.
